1. Cleveland Museum of Art
The Cleveland Museum of Art is a total dream wedding venue. The museum features over 44,000 square feet of space and offers both indoor and outdoor wedding packages. The main indoor space, The Atrium, features beautiful marble, tons of plants, and a glass ceiling allowing for tons of natural light. The outside space puts you right in the middle of the elegant outside of the museum and the nearby Wade Oval pond. They also have an on-site culinary team and event coordinator to help make planning your wedding day a breeze!

2.Lago Custom Events
With over 10,000 square feet of space, and six different event spaces to choose
from, is Lago Custom Events. This venue offers a clean and sleek style with both
indoor and outdoor event spaces available for your wedding day. Up 20 stories
above the ground floor, is the all glass EY Penthouse. This penthouse offers
stunning views with your ceremony backdrop overlooking Lake Erie. Lago Custom
Events also has numerous amenities available for your wedding day including
delicious food packages, as well as bar service.

3. Gordon Green Events
Located in the Gordon Square Arts District of downtown Cleveland is Gordon Green
Events. This old historic building has been fully renovated and offers an elegant,
bright, and modern event space for your wedding day. Due to its convenient
downtown location, there are also numerous scenic spots surrounding the venue to
grab unique and fun photos at. The venue is also an LGBTQ+ owned business, with
amazing owners.

4. Truss Cleveland
One of the newest wedding venues in the Cleveland market is Truss Cleveland. This
all-inclusive venue offers a really high end feeling and even features Gucci wallpaper
(which I’m still trying to figure out how to put in my house). The main indoor space is
a large truss supported room allowing for an open and modern feeling. The
showstopper of this venue however is the 4,000 square foot rooftop terrace. This
spot offers insane views of downtown and the neighboring Cleveland Westside
Market. These one of a kind views make this venue one of the most picturesque
rooftop wedding venues in Cleveland Ohio.

5. The Madison Venue
If you’re looking for a wedding venue in Cleveland that is a blank canvas to
completely transform and customize to your tastes, The Madison Venue is hard to
beat. They offer two loading docks, and you can even drive into the venue, making
setting up a breeze. The venue itself has a modern, urban feel with high ceilings,
exposed beams, and lots of natural light. There also are two private lounges to use
to sneak away for a break or to use to get ready. Another great feature of this venue
is they have an on-site parking lot which is a rare find in the area.

6. The Highfields Event Center
Recently opened in 2020 is The Highfields Event Center. This private event space, located on 20 acres of land, is a mix of classic and modern. Despite its private setting, it’s only a few minutes drive from downtown Hudson, and only a 20 minute
drive from Akron. The space has a natural indoor/outdoor flow with a cute terrace right outside of the indoor event space. The outdoor space can also be tented to accommodate more guests. Out on the lawn, you can also host your ceremony with large trees and woodlands as the backdrop. The property also has numerous scenic locations including gardens, ponds, and woodlands.

7. Akron Art Museum
One of the best wedding venues in downtown Akron, Ohio would have to be the
Akron Art Museum. Because of its convenient location, there are tons of
opportunities to get unique and unforgettable images around the area. I even have a secret spot nearby the venue that will give you great views of the city. Inside the venue you will find a modern, clean, and unique structure. The largest event space, the grand atrium, is an all glass space giving tons of natural light and an overall great design. There are also numerous outdoor spaces available for your wedding ceremony or reception. Plus, the in-house event coordinator will help walk you through all of the logistics of planning your special day.

8. Gervasi Vineyard
Located about a half hour outside of Akron, is the Gervasi Vineyard. This venue
transports you into feeling like you are in Tuscany, Italy when in reality you’re just in Canton, Ohio. The grounds are stunning and offer numerous picturesque spots including the vineyard, a lake and weeping willow trees. For your wedding ceremony, there are three main event spaces on-site. The Pavilion is the largest space and is an open air structure with beautiful pillars and surrounding scenery. The Villa Grande offers more of a ballroom style environment, while the Conservatory offers a more intimate setting. There are also three different restaurants on-site and Gervasi Vineyard even won the 2021 Best in Ohio Wedding Venues for the restaurant category. You can also choose to stay overnight at the venue with 48 different suites ranging from beautiful villas to more to the historic farmhouse.

9. The Grand Resort Warren Ohio
Located just a few miles north of Youngstown is the Grand Resort Warren Ohio. This
beautiful resort is a hidden gem that offers an elegant, yet timeless experience. There are numerous stunning event spaces to choose from at the Grand Resort including their ballroom, grand pavilion, piano room, and numerous outdoor spaces.
